Shallot Sauce for Seafood and PotatoesTHIS SAUCE ADDS WONDERFUL FLAVOR TO MILD SEAFOOD such as scallops or cod. If you serve seafood with boiled potatoes or a vegetable like green beans, use the sauce to lightly dress the entire plate. I suggest shallots because they won't overwhelm delicate seafood. You can substitute mild white onions, especially if the sauce is for dressing potatoes and vegetables.
